With fuel cells set to become the source of power for everything from your cell phone to home, business and automobile, the industry is expected to grow by a factor of 250 during this decade according to a report by Allied Business Intelligence, an Oyster Bay, New York Technology Think Tank.

The Coming Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Depression
Suppose you could buy a car that used half the fuel and had one-quarter the maintenance needs of a similar conventional vehicle – at about the same price. Electric vehicles (EVs) powered by fuel cells (FCs) instead of batteries may give vehicle buyers that choice soon. Several automakers are planning to introduce FC EVs in 2004.
